Kairos Course Information

Introduction

KAIROS is a foundational discipleship course centred on God’s mission. It reveals God’s heart for all the nations and His desire to use His people as a blessing to them. KAIROS also emphasizes the importance of ministering among cultures that have few or no indigenous churches.

Designed to educate, inspire, and challenge believers, KAIROS equips Christians for meaningful participation in God’s mission. It helps transform their worldview, encouraging them to see themselves as people who have been blessed in order to be a blessing to all nations..

Content

KAIROS is a nine-session course that explores four key areas:

Biblical – Discover how mission lies at the centre of God’s concern and how Scripture consistently shows God blessing His people to be a blessing to all people groups

Historical – See God’s mission purpose throughout history and learn from the church’s past successes and challenges in mission expansion

Strategic – Explore effective mission strategies for reaching unreached people groups and understand the vital role of every believer and church

Cultural – Learn what culture is, why it matters, and how to communicate and make disciples across cultural boundaries

Format 

KAIROS can be offered in several flexible formats, including:

• One evening per week
• Three weekends
• Five-day intensive
• Other formats to suit the needs of participants

Total course time: Approximately 25 hours, plus 20 hours of reading and worksheets
